The Cascade Highlands Loop follows much of the Century Challenge route without the long climb of Green Springs, or the descent of Dead Indian Memorial Hwy. It still boasts a respectable cumulative 3,500' of climbing. You will start and end at the south end of Hyatt Lake high in the Cascades, returning on the west side of Howard Prairie and Hyatt Lakes from Dead Indian Memorial Road . At the end of your ride, drive down to Hunter Park Senior Center in Ashland for your post-ride meal. When driving to the start location, please be careful of cyclists climbing the Green Springs Grade. Please return to Ashland via Highway 66 rather than Dead Indian Memorial Highway.
